Keep At It is a personal effort to create and promote the joy and happiness that make our lives and everyone around us better. The goal is to challenge kindness within ourselves and pay it forward with the same gratitude and no-quit attitude from role models who continuously lift humanity up with their generosity and compassion.
Spending consistent intervals of time on a project is how things get accomplished. It’s not rocket science, but it does relate to physics and how we can all live our best lives. Creating a healthy diet requires repeating the same thing over and over again. It develops discipline and habits that keep us well. Everyone wants to feel good!
Have you ever heard the story of The Three Bricklayers? I hadn’t—until recently:
A man came upon a construction site where three people were working. He asked the first, “What are you doing?” and the man replied: “I am laying bricks.” He asked the second, “What are you doing?” and the man replied: “I am building a wall.” As he approached the third, he heard him humming a tune as he worked, and asked, “What are you doing?” The man stood and smiled and replied with a gleam in his eye, “I am building a cathedral.”
