I’ve always loved space and science, which weave themselves into much of my poetry. I fully admit there’s a lot I don’t know about each—and I’m okay with that—though every time I dive into a book, podcast, lecture, etc., I often fall in love with the topic du jour and feel inspired to explore more. I liken it to my daily ritual of viewing the night sky. I head out when the stars become visible, watch the moon rise, study the constellations, and wait for a falling star…

Big things—and even the small, unnoticeable positive things—happen when you trust yourself and BELIEVE. Sometimes it comes in the form of someone else believing in you first, like a family member, friend, teacher, or co-worker. Other times, it’s simply knowing that you got this. Believing is how goals are reached, rockets are built, and how work gets done. With reverence and respect for efforts made, the rewards go as deep as still water and as high as the sky.
